CPU Royale was developed from the idea of turning computer performance into a direct challenge between two players. Inspired by the concept of Tetris, the game visualizes CPU activity in real time, imagining a scenario where the less performant computer is at a disadvantage.
Each player’s device feeds data into the system, which translates CPU usage into a grid that gradually fills. The more the CPU is engaged, the more the grid completes. When one player reaches a high CPU load, the game freezes and a final animation declares the winner.
Visually, a set of SVG symbols was created to fill the grid, making the direct relationship between the machine’s behavior and the evolution of the game immediately visible.
